N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held a solemn ceremony for the university-wide winter graduation of master's students in 2025 – an important event for young professionals and the entire university community.
The event brought together graduates, teachers, university management, relatives and friends in a warm yet discreet atmosphere on the eve of the Christmas holidays and in wartime conditions. The ceremony began with a minute of silence to honour the memory of students, graduates and teachers of the university who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The rector of the university, Tetiana Kahanovska, addressed the masters graduates with a welcoming speech. The graduates were also congratulated by the director of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy”, Denys Kovalenko, representatives of the student union and the university's Student Council.
During the ceremony, diplomas and awards were presented to masters who achieved high results in their studies, scientific and public activities. The names of the best graduates were announced from the stage to the musical accompaniment of the Karazin Orchestra.
The event became a symbol of a new beginning for young professionals, in particular graduates of the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy”, who will soon be realising their potential in their professional lives in Ukraine.
