From 7 to 11 July, the delegation of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, consisting of the Head of the Department of International Relations of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations of the ERI “Karazin Institute of International Relations and Tourism Business” Iryna SHTEIMILLER, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Methodology and Management of Education Maryna VASYLIEVA, Professor of the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics Tetiana BONDARENKO, and Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Roman NESTERENKO, took part in the international Erasmus+ week, which was held at the Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (Romania).
As part of the programme, representatives of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University attended seminars, workshops and lectures on establishing international cooperation between universities.
Thus, on the first day, the Rector Teodor FLORIN CILAN, Conf.univ.dr. and the coordinator of Institutional Erasmus Cerlinde KNAP delivered a welcome speech and an introductory programme. On the first day, the teachers also took part in the Romanian Language Crash Course, where they got to know Romanian culture and language communication. The teachers also got acquainted with the University's facilities. Iryna SHTEIMILLER presented the University, spoke about international projects, available specialities, and proposals for cooperation. On the second and third days, the workshops “Taste and Colour from Transylvania”, “Taste of Romania - a marketing approach to increasing the attractiveness of the tourist destination”, “Home Abroad”, “Overview of the Erasmus+ programme”, and “From Tradition to Transformation - the Technical Essence of Romania” were planned, where the teachers joined the activities carried out by the University within the framework of international projects. As part of the International Week, representatives of the University met with the higher education institutions that participated in the event and established close international cooperation.
The ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” has a long-standing cooperation with the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work of the Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad. Tetiana Bondarenko, Maryna Vasylieva and Roman Nesterenko together with the Deputy Dean Professor Gabriela Kelemen have joint publications in the journal Education Plus (Romania), where representatives of the ERI “UEPA” were members of the editorial board, and also have joint articles in the Scopus publications, scientists jointly participate in international scientific conferences, forums, seminars.
In addition to official meetings, the following cultural events were organised for our teachers:
- a tour of the Aurel Vlaicu University and the city of Arad;
- a tour of the surroundings of Arad and the local spiritual complex, where a concert of organ music was held for the participants of the International Week.
The visit was part of the Erasmus+ project KA107 international mobility of teaching staff from Aurel Vlaicu University of ARAD.
