Maryna Vasylieva, Deputy Director of the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, took part in an internship within the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training programme at the University of Messina (Italy) from 30 June to 04 July 2025. The programme was aimed at improving knowledge of international practices in administrative processes and management of the Erasmus+ programme, strengthening intercultural communication skills, cooperation and problem solving in an international context, expanding professional network, promoting opportunities for future cooperation, implementing improved administrative practices based on the experience of the host institution, strengthening cooperation between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the host University of Messina. The key speakers were representatives of the International Relations Department of the University.
Participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices in international cooperation activities, acquire practical skills necessary for implementing university internationalisation strategies, and communicate with colleagues in a multicultural group to promote personal and professional development.
We look forward to further deepening the existing cooperation and forming new alliances with the host institution in the area of international agreements and finding new project opportunities in relevant fields. These activities are in line with the strategies of both institutions in terms of modernisation and internationalisation.
