On 26 June 2025, with the participation of Tetiana YEHOROVA-LUTSENKO, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, a ceremonial presentation of certificates to the participants of the courses within the framework of the German-Ukrainian project “Craftspeople without Borders” took place at Derzhprom. The ceremony was attended by the project manager of Craftspeople without Borders, Head of the Department of Territorial and Local Development and International Relations of the Executive Office of the Regional Council Maksym KOLINKO. Director Denys KOVALENKO and Deputy Director Oleksandr KUPRIIANOV spoke at the event.
In total, 70 teachers from vocational schools and colleges in the Kharkiv region were involved in the training, which took place during the academic year. From the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy”, useful practical knowledge was received by Pavlo Vasylianskyi (automotive), Ivan Molchan (welding), and Liubov Zelenska (hairdressing). They received certificates for their training.
This training was useful for our specialists for two reasons:
Firstly, they received a wealth of information in the areas of automotive, welding and hairdressing. Since Germany is one of the most developed countries in automotive and welding, it offers us modern, advanced technologies.
Secondly, since at the ERI “UEPA” we also teach students practical skills, and we are now doing it online, the training was also useful for us from a methodological point of view. The students gained experience of how German specialists conduct online training and now use this experience in their teaching.
Our students were impressed by the quality of the videos provided during the training, as well as the friendliness of the teachers. The students noted that a lot of the information was useful and they will be able to apply it in their professional activities. The expectations of the students from the ERI “UEPA” were exceeded, and they are already using some of the information in their work.
The project was supported by the Kharkiv Regional Council and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Germany, Poland, Italy and France.
