In the period from 15 April to 15 May 2025, the course “European experience of examination of goods in customs affairs” was held at the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University as part of the ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH project “European concept of dynamic regulation and coordination of examination of goods in customs affairs” (EDETMS).
The course followed a clearly structured schedule, which included regular classes. The schedule was designed to provide students with convenient access to learning materials, effective interaction with teachers, and sufficient time to complete assignments, contributing to a deeper understanding of knowledge and the development of practical skills:
- 15.05.2025. The speaker of the first meeting was Viktoriia Chobitok, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business at the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The topic of the speech was: “History of the formation of customs relations in the European Union (EU)”.
- 16.04.2025. The second meeting: the speaker was Viktoriia Chobitok, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business at the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The speech was devoted to the topic: “EU Customs Policy”.
- 17.04.2025. The speaker at the third meeting was Vira Nosova, Head of the ILOC Consulting Department. The lecture was dedicated to the topic: “Development of the customs expertise system: European experience. Non-tariff regulation. Official control measures”.
- 22.04.2025. The fourth lecture was delivered by Alina Pak, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The report was devoted to the topic: “Procedure and principles of conducting customs examinations of food products in accordance with EU requirements”.
- 23.04.2025. The fifth meeting was held by Alina Pak, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The presentation was devoted to the topic: “Expertise of fresh and processed fruits and vegetables for customs purposes in the EU”.
- 29.04.2025. The speaker of the seventh meeting was Inna Sabadash, Head of the Department of Commodity, Forensic and Engineering Research of the Specialised Laboratory of Expert Research of the State Customs Service, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Senior Researcher, who spoke on the topic “European requirements for the quality and safety of products in customs”.
- 30.04.2025. During the eighth meeting, the speaker was Maryna Chuiko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the MCB Department of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The topic was: “Expertise of bakery products for customs purposes in the EU countries”.
- 01.05.2025. The ninth day of the course was held by Oleksandra Kachur, a leading laboratory technician at Vlasivskyi Miroshnyk LLC. The topic of her presentation was “Examination of grain and flour products for customs purposes in the EU”.
- 07.05.2025. The eleventh day of the course was held by Ruslan Moroz, Acting First Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Customs, Customs Advisor of the First Rank; Kateryna Hunko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Head of the Human Resources Department of the Kharkiv Customs, Customs Advisor of the First Rank. The presentation was devoted to the topic “Falsification of goods: general concepts. Types and means of falsification in European countries”.
- 08.05.2025. The speaker of the twelfth meeting was Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the MCB Department of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Maryna Chuiko. The topic of the speech was: “Expertise of flour confectionery products for customs purposes in the EU”.
- 13.05.2025. The speaker of the thirteenth meeting was Tetiana Chorna, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of the MCB Department of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The topic of the meeting was “EU experience in the expert study of edible fats”.
- 14.05.2025. The speaker of the fourteenth meeting was Tetiana Chorna, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of the MCB Department of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The topic of the presentation was: “EU experience in the expert study of the flavour group of goods”.
- 15.05.2025. The fifteenth and final meeting was held by Tetiana Chorna, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of the MCB Department of the ERI “UEPA” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The topic of her speech was “EU experience in expert examination of the dairy product group”.
The course was attended by 88 people who actively participated in all stages of the training. Upon successful completion of the programme, each participant received a certificate.
