The delegation of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Lublin held fruitful talks on building cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with the Economic Environment, Professor Zbigniew Pastuszak, and the Director of the European Centre of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Professor Sylwia Kucharuk.
During the meeting, the ways of deepening cooperation and prospects for the development of the study programme ‘International Law and Law of the European Union’, which is implemented in the format of a double degree in cooperation with the University of Lorraine in Nancy (France), were discussed. The activities of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University as a partner of the European Centre of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University were discussed. Our university was officially accepted as a member of the Programme Board of the Centre on 21 January 2025 together with Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University (Vinnytsia), Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University and the Executive Committee of Vinnytsia City Council.
Potential areas for further inter-university cooperation in physics, economics, philology and pedagogy were also discussed. Fruitful negotiations were held to intensify joint project activities in the scientific and educational fields.
N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was represented at the meeting by: Vitalii Diachek, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Maryna Vasylieva, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Methodology and Management of Education, Deputy Director of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy”, and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department.
