This week, the staff of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering, the Department of Automation, Metrology and Energy Efficient Technologies and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Welding of the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of Karazin University started training in the use of equipment from the leading German manufacturer of production automation equipment Festo in the educational process.
The training is conducted by the company's representative, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mykola Yakimenko. Classes are held on the basis of the interdepartmental laboratory of modern production automation technologies, which is currently in the process of creation.
The training cycle will last five days and includes four specific modules covering laboratory workshops of special disciplines of the departments.
More than 20 employees of the Academy joined the training.
