The delegation of the ERI “UEPA” paid a working visit to the Technical University of Gabrovo (Bulgaria)

 

On behalf of the Rector of Kharkiv National University Tetiana KAHANOVSKA and the Director of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy” Denys KOVALENKO, the delegation of KhNU consisting of the Deputy Director, Professor of the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics Oleksandr KUPRIIANOV, acting Head of the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics Olesia NECHUIVITER, and Associate Professors of the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics Halyna SAZHKO and Serhii TROKHYMCHUK had the honour to congratulate the Rector of the Technical University of Gabrovo, Professor Iliya ZHELEZAROV, on the university's anniversary.

The celebration was attended by delegations from Bulgarian universities, as well as representatives of academic institutions from Germany, Japan, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia. The events began with the unveiling of a bas-relief of the first rector of TU Gabrovo, Professor Vessel Savov, which became a symbol of respect for the university's history. The official part of the celebrations continued in the House of Culture “Emanuil Manolov”, where Rector Iliya ZHELEZAROV greeted the academic community, thanked the partners for their long-term cooperation and stressed the importance of international relations in modern education.

In his welcoming remarks, Oleksandr KUPRIIANOV noted that friendly relations between our educational institutions facilitate the exchange of knowledge, cultural values and professional experience between Ukraine and Bulgaria.

A special place in the celebration was occupied by the ceremony of signing the cooperation agreement between the Technical University of Gabrovo and Kharkiv National University, as well as the Erasmus+ Interinstitutional Agreement. These agreements are an important step in strengthening partnerships, opening up new opportunities for joint educational and research projects, academic exchange programmes, and joining forces to address modern challenges.
