A transnational coordination meeting of ERASMUS+ UA-Talent-UP project participants took place at the Pontifical University of Salamanca (Spain)

 

Last week, the first transnational meeting of the ERASMUS EDU-2023-CBHE UA-Talent-UP project participants took place at the Pontifical University (Salamanca, Spain). The team of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was represented at this event by Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Management of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy” Yuliia DUDNIEVA.

Together with representatives of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, International European University, Lviv National Academy of Arts, Ukrainian Catholic University, Ternopil National Technical University, University of Applied Sciences (Dipenbeek, Belgium) and University of Cyprus (Nicosia, Cyprus), she took part in a discussion of important aspects of the project.

The event programme included presentations and workshops aimed at sharing experience in developing massive open online courses and implementing innovative approaches to the development of global competences. The participants of the event took part in a practical workshop on course development conducted by representatives of TNTU, UPSA and UCLL. Particular attention was paid to the assessment and standard setting for MOOCs, as well as the presentation of the communication and dissemination plan. Thanks to the joint efforts of the partners, effective approaches to the development of global competencies, entrepreneurship and creativity through the use of innovative learning formats such as MOOCs and Creativity Hubs have been identified.

The extremely productive transnational meeting was concluded with a roundtable discussion on “Resilience at the University: Experience during the War in Ukraine”, where Ukrainian partner universities shared their experience in overcoming the challenges of the war. The audience was particularly impressed by the presentation of the situation in higher education in frontline cities by representatives of Kharkiv universities, highlighting the problems of damage to educational infrastructure, displacement of students and teachers, adaptation to distance and hybrid learning models, etc.

The cultural component of the event included a tour of Salamanca and the Pontifical University, as well as the preparation of a traditional Spanish dish - paella with seafood in the best culinary studio in the city.
