The Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies at the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University hosted an event entitled “Art therapy exercises for brain relaxation, aimed at relieving the psycho-emotional state of students after a stressful day of study”.
During the event, participants performed creative art therapy exercises that helped reduce stress levels, shift their focus away from academic pressures, and gain a deeper understanding of their own emotional state. Students had the opportunity to:
- work with art therapy techniques to relieve psycho-emotional tension;
- safely express their emotions through creativity;
- focus on the ‘here and now’ process, restoring inner balance;
- develop awareness and self-regulation skills.
The event was conducted by Oksana Kholodova, a leading specialist at the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies, together with Yevheniia Soshynska, a student majoring in Practical Psychology. They created a trusting atmosphere that promoted openness, comfort and deep emotional recovery among the participants.
