On 9 October, the Talent Hub hosted a training session entitled “HR — the art of working with people: from recruitment to development” at the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Education and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Students who participated in the training learned:

– that the HR profession is the art of understanding people and creating a harmonious atmosphere in a team;

– that an HR manager is not just a recruitment specialist, but also a coach, partner and mentor;

– how practical exercises can help them better understand the work of HR and feel like an employee;

– what details employers pay attention to when reviewing CVs and during interviews.

Speakers at the event: Dmytro Sereda, HR manager of the “PoFaktu” project and communications officer at the Office of Support for Youth Diplomats at the UN, and Maksym Baturin, career counselling manager at CIET, shared their own experiences and practical advice for students seeking to develop themselves in the field of people management.

The training organisers noted the participants' enthusiasm and interest, emphasising that such events not only broaden professional horizons, but also contribute to the development of leadership qualities, communication skills and self-confidence.
