Implementation of the STUDBIZ project in Kharkiv by the CIET of the ERI “UEPA” and the "Innovation Generation” in cooperation with the School of ME

 

Representatives of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of Karazin University in partnership with the "Innovation Generation” NGO (INNOGEN) became partners of the international project "Social Student Businesses to Support Youth in (Post)War Ukraine” (STUDBIZ Ukraine), implemented by the School of ME with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and ChildFund Deutschland e.V.

In Kyiv, on 10-11 March, 24-25 March and 15-16 April 2025, at the UNIT.City Innovation Park, the School of ME team conducted 3 modules of training for project coaches and mentors for representatives of 10 youth centres for the development of social entrepreneurship in educational institutions.

Our team was represented by activists of the "Innovation Generation” NGO and specialists from the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies of the ERI “UEPA” Tetiana Kostrova and Maksym Baturin, and Roman Nesterenko, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

As part of the training for trainers and mentors on social entrepreneurship in educational institutions, participants worked on generating ideas and completed practical tasks to strengthen their skills in social entrepreneurship. 

On 10 April and 18 April, Karazin University conducted trainings on social school entrepreneurship (SSE) at the Blyzniukivka Lyceum of the Blyzniukivka Village Council of the Lozova District of Kharkiv Region and the Oles Honchar Kobeliaky Lyceum 2 of the Kobeliaky City Council of Poltava Region.

The trainings raised the issue of identifying social problems and solving them through social entrepreneurship, which can be organised by students themselves in their schools.

On April 14, the first part of the equipment for the development of the Social Entrepreneurship Development Hub in Educational Institutions on the basis of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies of the ERI “UEPA” of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was received within the framework of the STUDBIZ Ukraine project, namely a set of equipment for sublimation printing.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the School of Mindful Entrepreneurship NGO and the "Innovation Generation” NGO as part of a project implemented in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland e.V. The Memorandum provides for the development of a Social Entrepreneurship Development Hub in educational institutions on the basis of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies of the ERI “UEPA” of Karazin University.
