The final meeting of participants, mentors and all interested parties within the DAAD project ‘Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2024’ (MoI Ukraine) took place on 22 October 2024 at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Participants of the 3rd cohort of the project, including a representative of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy (now the ERI Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University), Professor Maryna Vasylieva, presented the results of their participation in the project.
The project, which began in January 2024 and lasted ten months, was solemnly completed after a hard and fruitful work:
- training in the course ‘Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2024’, organised by the International Department of Leibniz University of Hannover within the DAAD programme;
- acquaintance of representatives of Ukrainian educational institutions with the work peculiarities of the Internationalisation Office of Leibniz University of Hannover, achievements and challenges during the visit to Hannover from 10.03.2024 to 17.03.2024.;
- work on an individual project on the internationalisation of a higher education institution with mentoring support from German colleagues;
- participation in the 34th annual conference and exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) from 17 to 20 September 2024 in Toulouse (France);
- presentation of the project «UU4UEPA (Network UNESCO-UNEVOC for Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy)» to the general public during the conference.
During the presentation of the project, the participants shared their impressions and made plans for the next projects.
