We are pleased to inform you that the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, as an associate partner within consortium, has won another Erasmus+ project The Open European University.
Project area: KA2: Cooperation between organizations and institutions.
The project aims to voluntarily unite and cooperate universities from EU member states and other countries in alliances to provide higher education to students with equal access to the educational process and resources.
Project mission:
- To create a student-oriented, inclusive, digital and green open university of European scale, expanding access to quality higher education and life-long learning for all;
- to promote the digital transformation of higher education institutions by supporting them in integrating digital technologies into education, which will lead to the strengthening and intensification of the digital dimension of the European Higher Education Area.
As part of the OpenEU project, the project team will focus on:
- developing and scaling innovative approaches to knowledge sharing through digital technologies;
- building experience in providing flexible learning methods for our regular students;
- expanding access and participation in higher education for traditionally underrepresented groups.
We will work on:
- the foundations of a strong and sustainable European Open University;
- innovations in curriculum, teaching and course assessment;
- opportunities for life-long learning for all;
- wider participation of traditionally underrepresented groups;
- quality digital learning;
- accelerated digital transformation in higher education;
- more opportunities for international learning experiences;
- enhanced challenge-based knowledge generation;
- increased social impact through engagement with our communities and the labour market;
- promoting European values, democracy and the European way of life.
