The final stage of the VII International Competition of Innovative and Exploratory Student Scientific Works “Black Sea Science” was held on March 21-29. The competition is held annually at the Odesa National University of Technology under the auspices of the ISEKI-Food Association and the Black Sea Universities Network. Its goal is to expand international relations, intensify students` scientific work as an important factor in the formation of specialists, and attract students to participate in research programs, project, construction and other forms of research activities.
In the section “Food Science and Technology”, Oleksandr BLOKHIN, a master student of the Department of Food Technologies, Light Industry and Design, and Dmytro KELLER, a cadet of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, presented a joint project (within the agreement on scientific cooperation between UEPA and NANGU) on “Innovative Technology for Cracker Biscuits with Increased Nutritional Value”. The project was carried out under the supervision of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Iryna Tsykhanovska (UEPA) and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Lidiia TOVMA and was selected as a result of blind review by domestic and foreign experts at the preliminary stages of the competition among 90 works from 10 countries.
Based on the results of the public presentation and subsequent discussion, the project was awarded a certificate of the III degree.
We are grateful to the organizers of the competition, who perfectly organized and conducted the scientific event in such difficult conditions.
