The 4th International School of Pedagogical Skill “Education 4.0 and Pedagogical Excellence” was successfully launched at UEPA

 

As part of the implementation of the project "Strengthening the capacity of pedagogical educational institutions in Ukraine" with the support of the Czech Development Agency, on December 15, the teachers of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy, Maryna Vasylyeva, Ph.D., professor, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Methodology and Management of education and Roman NESTERENKO, head of the permanent working group on internationalization and project activities, senior lecturer of the department of pedagogy, methodology and management of education gave reports on the results of study visits to Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic). The presentation of the results took place during the first day of work of the Fourth International School of Pedagogical Skill "Education 4.0 and Pedagogical Excellence", which was held on the basis of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy at the initiative of the Public Union "Association for the Development of Professional and Continuing Education". Maryna Vasylyeva presented the topic "Modern trends and innovations in pedagogical education" highlighting the experience of implementing the ideas of critical pedagogy in educational institutions of the Czech Republic. Roman Nesterenko shared ideas on the topic "Internationalization of pedagogical education: challenges and opportunities" with a discussion of the opportunities that Masaryk University in Brno uses for internationalization, and which have potential for Ukrainian institutes of higher education. The participants of the conversation were teachers of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy, guarantors of OP, students of advanced training programs, teachers and masters of industrial training of professional (vocational and technical) education institutions, postgraduate students, students of education in pedagogical specialties (about 130 people). The questions aroused interest and debated discussion. Speakers answered questions, shared their own impressions from study trips. We are grateful to the organizers, in particular the Head of the Public Union "Association for the Development of Professional and Continuous Education" Tetyana Bondarenko, and Czech colleagues from the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University - Zdenka Wagnerova and Lenka Gulova.
