Important negotiations of UEPA and FHWS (Bavaria, Germany) took place

 

Representatives of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy held fruitful negotiations on the development of partnership and cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS).

The UEPA delegation visited the partner university in accordance with the memorandum on cooperation between our higher education institutions and met with representatives of the international service of the FHWS University.

During the meeting with Dr. Daniel Wimmer and Nataliya Kudelya, first of all, the possibilities of enrolling UEPA students who, due to the war, became forced migrants, to Germany and other EU countries to study at FHWS under international credit mobility programs were discussed.

Besides, during the talks, plans for future cooperation were discussed, in particular, identifying the interests of FHWS scientists in the field of joint research with UEPA representatives and preparation of joint scientific and educational projects: DAAD, ERASMUS+, Horizon Europe.

In addition, the representatives of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy were very interested in the experience of FHWS in the organization of the Professional Development Campus, the Career Center, the master's program «Behavioral Counseling», programs of Dual training, internationalization, etc.

There was a discussion of possible cooperation initiatives with the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and especially with the team of the master's program of international social work with refugees and migrants and the international service of the FHWS university regarding the adaptation of Ukrainian refugees to life in Germany and the German labor market.

Special attention was paid to opportunities for cooperation in the organization of professional practices for students, professional development for teachers, and partnership building with the faculties of: applied social sciences; architecture and construction; computer sciences and business information systems; economics and business administration.
