As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Week international mobility programme, which took place from 3 to 8 June 2026 at the University of L’Aquila (Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, L’Aquila, Italy), a representative of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University — Oleh Tavshunskyi, Associate Professor at the Department of Local History and Tourism, Social Sciences and Humanities, ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” — took part in the events.
The main meetings took place at the “Luigi Zordan” Congress Centre. Participants discussed a pilot model for developing cooperation in the field of Ukrainian studies between Ukrainian universities and European partners within the framework of the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies. In particular, there was an exchange of views and experiences on how Ukrainian topics can be researched, explained, taught and transformed into appropriate educational products for European students.
Special attention was paid to joint educational programmes, international student and staff mobility programmes, and the expansion of partnerships between universities.
