The Sixth Transnational Meeting of CRED4TEACH project partners

 

As part of the Erasmus+ work packages for the project “MOOC-based Microcredentials for Teachers` Professional Development”, the Sixth Transnational Project Meeting of partners from Ukraine, Germany, Portugal, Estonia, Turkey, Montenegro and Albania took place in Montenegro from 28 to 30 April. Representing the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the event was attended by Oleksandr Kupriianov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor and Deputy Director, and Olesia Nechuiviter, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Information, Computer Technologies and Mathematics.

At the Science and Technology Park in Podgorica, participants assessed the progress of the project, highlighting achievements, best practices, challenges and the impact achieved; identified outstanding tasks and drew up action plans for their implementation; formulated strategies to consolidate the project’s results and partnership cooperation; and prepared a plan for the conclusion of the joint work. At the meeting, Oleksandr Kupriianov reported on the operation of the project website, presented relevant statistics and agreed with colleagues on how to present the project’s results on the website.

The international conference “Shaping the Future of Teachers’ Professional Development: Microcredentials in the Age of Digital Education”, which took place on 29 April, brought together around 80 participating teachers. Opening remarks were delivered by Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, Montenegro’s Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Veselin Mićanović, Vice-Rector of the University of Montenegro; Tatjana Novović, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Montenegro; Ljiljana Ivanović, Head of the Department for Continuing Teacher Training; and Ljiljana Gogić, representative of the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro. The main focus of the conference was on examples of the use of microcredentials, feedback from course developers, as well as the views of lecturers and participating teachers regarding their involvement in MOOC-based microcredential programmes.

The sixth transnational meeting of the CRED4TEACH project partners, like the conference, took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, helping to strengthen professional ties and foster cultural exchange. These events served not only as a culmination of the project but also as a starting point for new international opportunities.
