The first module of the academic managers` professional development programme took place from 21 to 24 April 2025 at Mariupol State University in Kyiv. The module focused on the role of universities in the context of social transformations. It addressed current trends in university autonomy, good governance and leadership, the concept of a community university, interaction with employers and the community, and the university's public service.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about modern approaches to higher education management, expand professional networking, and be inspired by case studies from colleagues at different universities.
