On 30 September – 2 October, representatives of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies, Kyrylo Kosharnyi and Maksym Baturin, took part in a training course entitled “Youth civic engagement: leadership, entrepreneurship, project management”, which was held in Kharkiv.
This training is the first stage of the project “Youth for Recovery: Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Civic Engagement,” which is being implemented by the Charitable Foundation “Eudemony of Ukraine”.
The event was aimed at developing the leadership skills of participants, understanding the basic approach to project management, and applying entrepreneurial thinking to youth civic engagement.
During the three-day training, the following issues were discussed:
- the power of civic engagement;
- how communities can influence change;
- who are the agents of change and what can they do?
- what leadership is and its components;
- who a leader is;
- how to characterise a leader;
- the benefits of entrepreneurship for the community;
- the role of young people in entrepreneurship;
The speaker at the event was Iryna Drazman, a trainer in educational and youth programmes.
Representatives of CIET of ERI “UEPA” express their gratitude to the organizers and speakers of the event for the opportunity to participate in such trainings, gain knowledge in person and learn about the latest approaches in education!
The project “Youth for Recovery: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Civic Engagement” is a pilot project funded by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives and implemented by the Charitable Foundation “Eudemony of Ukraine” in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region.
The project aims to empower young people in Kharkiv and the region by developing leadership, entrepreneurship and civic engagement skills.
