The presentation of the Compliance Management course developed within the Erasmus+ EUComplianceM4UA project for master's students of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was presented on 18 September 2025.
Head of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business, Doctor of Economics, Professor Viktoriia Chobitok, and Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Yuliia Dudnieva, familiarised master's students and lecturers of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Business with modern approaches to ensuring that the activities of enterprises comply with the requirements of legislation, international standards and ethical norms.
During the presentation, attendees learned about the role of compliance in risk management, protecting business reputation, and improving business process efficiency. Special attention was paid to analysing real-life cases from Ukrainian and international companies, which provided a better understanding of the importance of compliance policies in today's business environment.
The course combines lectures and practical classes, using case studies and interactive teaching methods. This approach aims to develop critical thinking, management skills and the ability to make informed decisions in professional activities among master's students.
The organisers emphasised the importance of implementing compliance principles in organisational management systems and expressed their confidence that the knowledge gained would make a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists. The participants, in turn, noted the relevance of the course and expressed their interest in studying it.
