The solemn initiation ceremony for first-year students of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took place at the Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Mykola Lysenko.
The rector of the university, Tetiana Kahanovska, vice-rectors, deans of faculties and directors of education and research institutes addressed the new students with welcoming words. Yevhenii Hrytskov, advisor to the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council, also joined in the congratulations, wishing the first-year students successful and productive studies.
After the solemn ceremony, first-year students had the opportunity to visit and get acquainted with the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and visited the student space, Talent Hub, VR and video shooting studios. At the end of the day, students enjoyed a cosy tea party in the informal atmosphere of the student space.
We congratulate the first-year students and wish them an inexhaustible desire for knowledge, creative achievements and victories! Welcome to the big Karazin family!
