“Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results”, the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University received modern computer numerical control machine tools. The delivery set includes the following equipment:
- 5-axis CNC turning machining centre MLS 420x500 S12/5;
- MM 855 S24 CNC milling machining centre;
- MLS 420x500 S12 CNC lathe with inclined bed;
- Universal lathe M-TK 560x1500;
- Universal milling machine UWF120.
The equipment will be used by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Welding for training and scientific research.
The equipment is now installed at the educational and scientific centre of the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy”. The department's teachers have undergone basic training in the adjustment and maintenance of the machines. There is a lot of work ahead to master this modern equipment. The goal is to learn how to use the machines ourselves and teach students to work effectively on them!
