We are pleased to announce the publication of a new training manual, “Creativity and Entrepreneurship: Trainer`s Manual”, which was created as a result of the Create Creative Entrepreneurs (CCE) project. The project was implemented as part of the Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise with the support of the British Council and was aimed at raising awareness of the concept, challenges, and opportunities of the creative economy.
Creativity and Entrepreneurship: Trainer`s Manual was developed by an international team of authors. The University of Bedfordshire Business School (Luton, UK) was represented by Yanqin Duan, Yongmei Bentley and Patricia Wilson; Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics - by Associate Professor Olena Yarmosh; Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy – by Associate Professor Yuliia Dudnieva and Senior Lecturer Roman Nesterenko.
The six modules that make up the manual, namely: development of creative thinking, basics of starting a business, business planning and finance, marketing strategy, branding, digital analytics, cover the main areas of professional training of entrepreneurs and development of creative thinking, highlight the main features of building a startup ecosystem, provide the necessary knowledge and tools for preparing and implementing ideas in a rapidly changing and competitive business environment. The manual is structured in the form of a slide outline to help trainers visualize the material and prepare for communication with students.
We hope that the Creativity and Entrepreneurship: Trainer`s Manual will become an indispensable tool for teachers and trainers who want to prepare higher education students and young entrepreneurs for successful activities in the creative economy. Thanks to the joint efforts of British and Ukrainian experts, the publication reflects the best practices and modern approaches to entrepreneurship and creativity.
