UEPA researchers took part in the International Conference "Migration as a Political, Social and Economic Problem", Konin, Poland

 

From April 10 to 11, researchers of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy took part in the International Conference "Migration as a Political, Social and Economic Problem", which was held in Konin, Poland, at the Higher School of Management in Konin.

The conference was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland.

The Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and Pedagogy was represented at the conference by:

- Maryna Vasylieva, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, Methodology and Management of Education;

- Tetiana Bondarenko, Professor of the Department of Information, Computer Technologies and Mathematics, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences;

- Roman Nesterenko, Head of the Permanent Working Group on Internationalization and Project Activities of UEPA, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy, Methodology and Management of Education.

The UEPA researchers presented a report "The Problem of Social and Psychological Adaptation of Migrants in Europe and Ways to Solve It". Based on the results of the conference, a collection of materials will be published.

The lecturers also took part in master classes and roundtables held within the conference and actively discussed the topic of migration and adaptation of Ukrainian immigrants in Poland.

Informational meetings were held with the conference coordinators and ways of further cooperation on joint projects and events were discussed.
