The ERI “UEPA” held a training session entitled “Music therapy as a tool for influencing human health in wartime”

 

The Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies at the ERI “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University hosted a training session entitled “Music therapy as a tool for influencing human health in wartime”. During the event, participants learned about the principles of music therapy and its impact on the psycho-emotional state, as well as how music can reduce anxiety and maintain psychological stability during wartime. 

The training programme included:

- learning musical techniques and creating your own instruments for emotional support;

- performing relaxation and self-regulation exercises;

- discussing the role of music as a means of self-help in everyday life. 

The speakers at the event were O. Kholodova, head of the laboratory of creativity, enterprise and youth initiatives, and Kateryna Polietaieva, a 4th-year student of the Department of Practical Psychology and Innovative Health Technologies. The event served as a useful platform for deepening knowledge and acquiring new skills that will contribute to strengthening psychological health and building resilience in today's challenging environment.
